8th ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT SET FOR SEPTEMBER 2

Petersburg, Va., (August 13, 2015) -- The 8th Annual Richard Bland College Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Petersburg Country Club.

The tournament will feature a scramble format with a shotgun start beginning at 1:00 p.m. and is open to 25 teams, each consisting of four players.

Registration includes a welcome gift, use of the driving range and practice green, golf cart, 18-holes of golf, one mulligan per player, on course beverages, one raffle ticket, and dinner. Additional mulligans and raffle tickets can be purchased at registration.

Some of the prizes include: Tickets to a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at the Richmond International Raceway, tickets to the Richmond Kickers home games, and much more.

Check in: 11:30 a.m.

Shotgun start: 1 p.m.

Sponsorships are available at multiple levels and will provide businesses and individuals the opportunity for exposure and to support Richard Bland College's educational mission.

Proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit Richard Bland College and its ability to fulfill the priorities outlined in our mission and vision by funding scholarships, athletics, and the annual fund.
