Bio

Danish Saadat is in his fourth year as Coordinator of Marketing and Special Events at Richard Bland College during 2017-18.  He also serves as a Sports Performance Coach.  Saadat came to the Statesmen in July 2014 from Virginia Commonwealth University.  

At Richard Bland, Saadat coordinates promotional events for the basketball, soccer and softball teams as well as special athletics department events such as the RBC Foundation Golf Tournament, the Athletics Banquet and Run Through the Grove 5K. In addition to those duties, Saadat teaches a fitness and wellness course along with a sports management course.

At Virginia Commonwealth, Saadat served as the Athletic Departments graduate assistant for ticket sales. In addition to being a graduate assistant, he worked in the Athletic Communication office while pursuing his Master's Degree from the Center for Sports Leadership at VCU.

Prior to VCU, Saadat was the Strength and Conditioning Coach at St. Catherine's private school in Richmond, Va.

Saadat earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is certified by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Specialist.

While attending VCU, Saadat worked in the Recreational Sports Department as a Personal Fitness Trainer and eventually became the head of Personal Fitness Training.

Saadat resides in Richmond.
