MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM DELIVERS GIFTS AND SMILES TO VISTA PARK MEMORY CARE

Petersburg, VA, December 19, 2013-The Richard Bland College Athletics Department took part in a Christmas celebration with the residents of the Vista Park Memory Care Center today. The members of the men's basketball team handed out cookies, candy canes and personal gifts to each of the residents. The team also sang christmas carols as the residents were expressing their appreciation and gratitude toward the young men.

As the Statesmen play their final home game of the first semester, most said that it felt good to see smiles on the faces of others. Richard Bland will host Spartanburg Methodist College for today's game scheduled to tip-off at 5:00 pm in Statesman Hall. Come out and support the Statesmen during their 2013 finale.
