STATESMEN SIGN FIRST TEAM ALL-STATE PERFORMER

PETERSBURG, VA, May 8, 2014-Israel Stith is a winner. After claiming two state championships at Brunswick High School. During his senior, he averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.9 steals per game on his way to being chosen VHSCA First Team All-State and All-Region Team in 2A-East. As a result of Stith's steadiness in the backcourt, Brunswick made an unprecedented eight consecutive State Final Four appearance and won 16 in a row during one stretch in a 23-5 season.

The 6'0" combo guard will join, incoming forward Troy Gibson (Heritage High School/Newport News, VA) and sophomore transfer Josh Davis (Phoebus High School/Louisburg College).
