RBC HOOPS TRAVELS TO CCBC CANTONSVILLE, TUESDAY

PETERSBURG, Va. – No. 11 Richard Bland men's basketball is set to travel to Catonsville, Md. to face-off against the Cardinals of the Community College of Baltimore in Catonsville at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11th in the Jack Manley Wellness Center.

The Statesmen (2-0) look to open their season at 3-0 after capturing their two wins, one at home and one on the road. In front of a raucous crowd in Keyser, WV on Saturday, the Statesmen overcame a slow start to win their first road game over Potomac State, 97-92.

Sophomore Tavon Mealy recorded a team-high 31 points and 10 rebounds, while sophomore Jhamir White (Paterson, NJ) charted 12 points and dished out four assists.

Against the Catamounts, the Statesmen started out slow but used a 10-0 run in the first half to lead by 45-35 at halftime and the Statesmen never looked back going into the second half to secure the 97-92 victory.

CCBC Catonsville (1-2) welcomes Richard Bland after dropping to Brunswick, 100-88 on Sunday.
