RBC ALUMNI TO HOST 2015 BASKETBALL ALUMNI GAME SATURDAY

PETERSBURG, Va. – The Richard Bland College Alumni in conjunction with the Department of Athletics for Richard Bland will host its first annual basketball alumni game on Saturday, April 11 at 11 a.m.

Admission is free to the public, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m.

The game will feature two mixed teams with former and current players for a 40 minute contest.

There will also be a special recognition of the all alumni basketball players as well as the 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association Champions of Division II Men's Basketball Statesmen before tip-off while at halftime, men's soccer will have six student-athletes who will sign their letter of intent to attend Richard Bland in the fall.

The game will follow with a cookout outside of Statesman Hall while fans, students, alumni and the community can enjoy a softball doubleheader beginning at 12 noon against Florence-Darlington Tech.
