TAVON MEALY NAMED MVP OF 2015 NJCAA ALL-STAR GAME

LAS VEGASTavon Mealy scored 14 points and was named Most Valuable Player for the "East" in the 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association All-Star Game Saturday afternoon at the Orleans Arena.

 

Mealy added 14 rebounds including seven offensive and seven defensive in route to MVP honors but ends in a 106-100 setback.

 

Suiting up for the Division II and Division III Away Team, he was joined by other sophomores from the  DII and DIII institutions including Brandon Brown (Phoenix College) and DeAndre Davis (Garrett College) whom Mealy played against during Richard Bland's National Championship run in March.

 

The game featured Division I players from the likes of Vincennes University, Des Moines Area Community College, Northwest College and South Plains College.
