Richard Bland Remains No. 12 In This Week's NJCAA Division II Poll

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- Richard Bland College remains ranked No. 12 in this week's NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Poll, as released Tuesday.  The Statesmen, who have not played since an 89-82 home win against CCBC Catonsville (Md.) on December 15, are currently 10-3 overall, including 4-1 in Region 10.  Richard Bland is scheduled to play at Pitt (N.C.) on Wednesday night, January 10, at 7 p.m. in Winterville, North Carolina.

Richard Bland has been ranked at No. 12 for two-straight polls, though the last poll was released last month on December 19 before the holidays. Cuyahoga (Ohio) Community College (15-0) is ranked No. 1 for the third consecutive poll.  Fellow Region 10 member Louisburg (N.C.) College (9-3) is ranked No. 15 this week (up from No. 16), and visits Statesman Hall next Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. for a battle of Top 15 teams within NJCAA Division II.
