Richard Bland Ranked No. 18 In This Week's NJCAA Division II Poll
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- Richard Bland College is ranked No. 18 in this week's NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Poll, as released Tuesday afternoon. The Statesmen had dropped out of the National Top 20 last week, but have returned to the rankings this week, following four-straight home wins this past week.
Richard Bland is currently 15-5 overall, including 9-3 in Region 10, and scheduled to play on the road at Region 10 member and No. 20 Bryant & Stratton College (14-5, 10-2) on Wednesday night, January 31, at 7:30 p.m. The contest will be played at Maury High School in Norfolk.
Fellow Region 10 member Louisburg (16-4, 9-2) is ranked No. 14 this week, giving the region three nationally-ranked teams, while early-season opponent Monroe (N.Y.) Community College (13-4) is No. 15 this week.
Cuyahoga (Ohio) Community College (19-0) is ranked No. 1 for the sixth consecutive poll.
