STATESMEN TO FACE WAKE TECH COMMUNITY COLLEGE, SUNDAY

PETERSBURG, Va. – The Richard Bland Statesmen will travel to Wake Tech Community College on Sunday, Oct. 19^th for a Region 10 conference match-up in Raleigh, N.C. Kick-off is slated for 10 a.m.

Richard Bland won the first meeting, 2-1 on Aug. 22.

Led by first year head coach Eduardo de Souza, the Statesmen enter the contest after dropping a 4-2 decision to USC Salkehatchie on Oct. 9^th before splitting, 1-1 to USC Lancaster on Oct. 11^th.

The Eagles welcome the Statesmen with a 5-7 record on the season and are 3-7 against league competition. Wake Tech Community College suffered a 4-2 setback against Patrick Henry Community College on Oct. 11^th and split, 1-1 with Oxford College on Oct. 12^th.

The Statesmen post a 4-8 record on the season and 2-7 in league action.
