Q: How does it feel to be named RBC Athlete of the Week?
SH: It is a great honor. I am very happy to be representing my team well and it is nice when your hard work is recognized.

Q: How did you get started in your sport and how long have you played?
SH: Both of my parents are from Argentina, so they introduced me to soccer when I was about three or four years old, and I have been playing ever since.

Q: What do you like most about your team?
SH: I love the diversity we have with players from all around the world and it's fun learning about everyone's different cultures.

Q: Who is your funniest teammate/why?
SH: Rueben (Bosompem). I played soccer with him in high school, too, and he has always been a jokester and full of energy.

Q: Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions?
SH: I always chew mint gum right before the game, then spit it out during warmups. I don't know how it started, but if I don't do it, I feel weird.

Q: What is your favorite place on campus/why?
SH: Statesman Field. Whenever I step onto it and play soccer with my team, it helps me clear my mind of everything and enjoy myself.

Q: What is your favorite class/professor/why?
SH: Psychology with Dr. (Tiffany) Birdsong (Assistant Professor of Psychology). She inspired me to pursue psychology as my major and is always willing to help me whenever I need it.
