Richard Bland Up To No. 15 In This Week's NJCAA Division I Poll
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- Richard Bland College moved up to No. 15, its highest ranking ever, in this week's NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Poll, as released Tuesday afternoon. The Statesmen are ranked for the fifth consecutive week after previously being ranked No. 16 a week ago. Richard Bland is currently 13-1 overall, including 11-1 in Region X, while enjoying its finest season-to-date. The Statesmen are scheduled to play on the road at Region X opponent Wake Tech (N.C.) on Friday, October 13, at 2:30 p.m. in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
Richard Bland was ranked among the Top 20 for the first time in the five-year history of the program on Sept. 12, and remains the only Region X team in the rankings again this week. St. Louis (Mo.) Community College (15-0) is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll for the third-straight week.
