Richard Bland Up To No. 14 In This Week's NJCAA Division I Poll

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- Richard Bland College moved up one spot to No. 14, its highest ranking ever, in this week's NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Poll, as released Tuesday afternoon. The Statesmen are ranked for the seventh consecutive week, completing their regular season with a school record of 16-1 overall, including 13-1 in Region X. Richard Bland has earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming 2017 NJCAA Region 10 Division I Men's Soccer Tournament, and has received a bye into the tournament semifinals on Saturday, October 28, at 9 a.m. in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Richard Bland was ranked among the Top 20 for the first time in the five-year history of the program on September 12, and remains the only Region X team in the rankings once-again this week. St. Louis (Mo.) Community College (19-0) is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll for the fifth-straight week.
