SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA -- The Richard Bland College of William & Mary men's soccer team lost 2-0 to Wake Tech Community College Saturday afternoon at Statesman Soccer Field.
With the tough defeat, the Statesmen drop to 5-2-1 on the season. Richard Bland will play its next two contests on the road, beginning with Spartanburg on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 2 pm, followed by a contest the following day against USC Sumter at 2 pm.
Wake Tech scored two first half goals, and were unable to get on the scoreboard against a tough Wake Tech defense.
