SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA — The Richard Bland College of William & Mary men's soccer team won 5-0 in their first away game of the season at USC Lancaster.
The Statesmen move to 2-1 on the season and will travel to USC Union on Sunday, September 1 at 10 a.m.
Gorka Delgado scored in the first four minutes, putting the Statesmen ahead 1-0. In the second half, the Statesmen secured a victory by scoring an additional four goals. Moses Mora, Jack Gilbert, and Domingos Vital were each credited with a goal. Dennis Zavala, Guillermo Fontes Salazar, Antonio Ferreira, and Brian Guerrero each had an assist. With eight minutes left, Waseem Abdalla single-handedly scored the final goal to put the Statesmen on top 5-0.
