Men's Soccer Wins Fourth Straight in Overtime

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA -- The Richard Bland College of William & Mary men's soccer team won 4-3 in OT at Cape Fear Community College today. This is their fourth straight win this season. 

The Statesmen move to 5-1 on the season and travel to Harford Community College on Saturday, September 14 at 2 p.m.

Antonio Ferreira scored the only goal for the Statesmen in the first half with an assist from Moses Mora. Brian Guerrero secured another goal with an assist from Guillermo Fontes Salazar to put RBC ahead 2-0 in the second half. Cape Fear came back with three goals to take a 3-2 lead. However, the Statesmen tied it up with a goal from Mora, assisted by Maximilian Schoebel. With both teams tied at 3-3 in OT, the Statesmen scored the fourth and final goal off a header from Gonzalo Bazan with an assist by Jack Gilbert to end the game.
