Men's Soccer Continues to Impress the League after USC Sumter Shutout

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA — The Richard Bland College of William & Mary men's soccer team picked up their sixth straight win of the season with a score of 3-0 over USC Sumter on Friday.

The Statesmen move to 7-1 on the season and travel next to USC Salkehatchie on Saturday, September 21 at 2 p.m.

The Statesmen's effort to shutout USC Sumter started off with a goal from Antonio Ferreira with an assist from Brian Guerrero. Leading 1-0 going into the second half, the Statesmen added another two goals to the board. Dennis Zavala scored with an assist from Nehemie Lamtoukou, while Gorka Delgado scored his thirteenth goal of the season (and final goal of the game) with an assist from Moses Mora to put the Statesmen on top 3-0.
