STATESMEN GET TUNED UP FOR NATIONALS

COLLEGE PARK, MD, May 2, 2014- The Richard Bland College Statesmen traveled to Maryland for a tune up meet against a handful of NCAA Division I programs. In addition to the host, University of Maryland, the Statesmen competed against Georgetown University, Penn State University and a field of unattached and professional athletes. 

"It was a great meet for the Statesmen Track and Field team to end the regular season", added head coach Matthew High. "I felt like we got what we needed from the meet to prepare for Nationals", said High. 

The Statesmen have another week of training as they compete for several national championships in Mesa, Arizona.
