CABRERA FINISHES STRONG NEARLY MISSING NATIONAL INVITE

Charlotte, NC, October 11, 2013- Lone men's runner Ricardo Cabrera missed the qualifying time to compete in the NJCAA National meet, finishing ninth with a time of 28:28. "Ricardo trained hard and ran well throughout the meet but came up short t qualify for nationals," said Coach Matt High. "We were determined to come back next year and get to the national meet," added High.

The time and finish was a personal best for Cabrera and allows him to finish the Cross Country season with a goal for next season. The freshmen from Richmond, VA and native of Miami, FL continues to focus on having a strong track and field season in preparation for next year.
