SLATE NAMED TO THE NJCAA MARUCCI ELITE HITTERS LIST

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO- The NJCAA national office released the recipients of the 2014 NJCAA Softball Marucci Elite Hitter awards. The awards are presented to the All-American nominee from each district with the highest batting average. "Taylor is the most decorated softball player at Richard Bland this past season", said Jennie Harp, assistant softball coach. Taylor ripped plenty of pitches this year with her .464 batting average for the Statesmen, leading Richard Bland to a 23-11 and a final national ranking of #18 in the country. "I am hoping to continue to do whatever it takes to help my team and coaching staff reach the greater heights next season", said Slate.
