SOFTBALL RANKS No. 14 IN THE LATEST NJCAA POLL
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Richard Bland College softball team ranked 14th nationally in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association polls for division II softball, it's the first time this season the Statesmen have been ranked.
The Statesmen hold a 10-7 overall record and 4-0 in Region X conference play on the season. RBC won eight consecutive games over the course of the month to hold that undefeated record in conference play.
As a team, the Statesmen have accounted for 111 runs, with a batting average of .325 at the plate to go along with six home runs on the season.
Richard Bland hits the road on Saturday, March 28 when they head to conference foe Florence-Darlington Technical Community College. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m.
