UPDATE: WEEKEND WEATHER WASHES OUT FRIDAY AND SATURDAY GAMES

PETERSBURG, Va., (April 1) -- Due to all-day thunderstorms on Friday, April 1, and extensive precipitation throughout the night and into Saturday, both of the scheduled Richard Bland College softball games on Friday and Saturday have been postponed.

On Friday, the Statesmen were due to travel to Patrick Henry Community College. The teams have rescheduled the doubleheader and will play at Patrick Henry on April 30 at 1 pm and 3 pm. 

On Saturday, Richard Bland was due to host Florence-Darlington Technical College. That doubleheader has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a forthcoming date.
