Richard Bland At Region X Fall Championships This Weekend

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- The Richard Bland College women's golf team will compete at the Region X Fall Championships on November 5-6 at the River Falls Plantation Golf Course in Duncan, South Carolina. The 36-hole event will include one round of 18 holes each day on Saturday and Sunday.

The Statesmen of second-year head coach Dr. Shawn Holt will compete this weekend with sophomores Anna Carole Cole/Halifax, Taylor Pope/Disputanta and Savannah Porter/Midlothian, along with freshman Kenedi Byard/Chesterfield. Byard leads the team in scoring with her 86.0 average, followed by Carole Cole (91.3), Porter (108.7) and Pope (118.7). Richard Bland has averaged 404.7 per round as a team.

The tournament in South Carolina will complete the fall season for Richard Bland.
