STATESMEN HEAD TO CNU HOLIDAY OPEN

PETERSBURG, Va. – The Richard Bland men and women's track and field team is set to head down to Newport News, Va. to compete in the Christopher Newport University Holiday Open on Saturday, Dec. 6th.

This weekend's meet will mark the last competition for the Statesmen before winter break begins.

Freshman Dallas Tennessee (Richmond, VA) will compete in the women's 60-meter dash, 200-meter dash, following freshman Nia Adeeb (Richmond, VA) and sophomore Samia Jones (Stafford, VA) will both compete in the women's 400-meter dash and 600-meter dash.

Newport News, Va. natives, freshmans Alexis and Auburn Bex will participate in the women's 1 mile and 3,000-meter.

Freshman Evan Wagner (Gloucester, VA) who made good progress in the JDL ALL Comer meet will represent RBC in the women's High Jump while sophomore Cassandra Nnaji (Falls Church, VA) will participate in the women's Shot Put.

The competition is set to begin at 10 a.m.
