CNU Holiday Open Results

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland Track and Field team traveled to Newport News, VA today for the Christopher Newport University Holiday Open.

Haniyyah Johnson and Aaliyah King topped the leaderboard. Johnson had a 3^rd place finish in the 60 meter, 5^th place finish in the 200 meter, and placed 1^st in the long jump. King had a 3^rd place finish in the 400 meter, 7^th place finish in the long jump, and a 1^st place finish in the triple jump.

Shaniece Morris – 200M 8^th place – 27.86

Swayne Clennon – 400M 1^st place – 59.93

Aaliyah King – 400M 3^rd place – 1:05.65, LJ 7^th place – 12'1.5", TJ 1^st place – 34'7.5"

Brooklyn Simmons – TJ 3^rd place – 33'6"

The Richard Bland track and field team next competes in the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational on Sunday, January 8^th.
