The Statesmen Highlight Reel : Taelin Connolley
Richard Bland College volleyball standout Taelin Connolley earns this week’s Statesman Spotlight after a dominant stretch of performances that powered the Statesmen to multiple victories.
Connolley was a force at the net, delivering 144 kills across 11 matches while hitting an impressive .277 attack percentage. She showcased her consistency and versatility with double-digit kills in nine different contests, highlighted by a season-best 19-kill outing in a 3-1 road win at Pitt Community College on September 11, where she hit a blistering .516.
Beyond her offensive firepower, Connolley contributed in every facet of the game. She added 20 service aces, 166 digs, and 12 total blocks, proving to be a steady presence in both the front and back rows. Her all-around performance earned her 162.5 points during the stretch.
Connolley’s ability to take over matches and deliver in crucial moments has made her one of the most impactful players on the floor and a key reason for the Statesmen’s early-season success.
