Beach Volleyball Competes in Lynchburg
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team moves to 14-5 overall, 12-0 in conference play after traveling to the University of Lynchburg for the Hornet Tournament.
In match one, the Statesmen pairs fell to NCAA Division III University Lynchburg, 1-4.
Pairing 1: Sarah Heath and Karagyn Durco lost to the Hornets 21-11, 19-21, and 9-15.
Pairing 2: Rylie Harris and Leilani Goggin lost to the Hornets 13-21 and 18-21.
Pairing 3: Sophia Kaiser and Jadyn Brown defeated the Hornets 21-12 and 21-11.
Pairing 4: Sydney Phillips and Morgan Green lost to the Hornets 19-21, 21-14, and 9-15.
Pairing 5: Georgia Alexander and Marisa Dunnavent lost to the Hornets 14-21 and 19-21.
In match two, the Statesmen pairs fell to NCAA Division III Stevenson University, 1-4.
Pairing 1: Sarah Heath and Karagyn Durco lost to the Mustangs 17-21 and 21-23.
Pairing 2: Rylie Harris and Leilani Goggin defeated the Mustangs 21-17 and 21-18.
Pairing 3: Sophia Kaiser and Jadyn Brown lost to the Mustangs 10-21 and 20-22.
Pairing 4: Sydney Phillips and Morgan Green lost to the Mustangs 21-18, 18-21, and 7-15.
Pairing 5: Marisa Dunnavent and Jordan May lost to the Mustangs 8-21 and 18-21.
In match three, the Statesmen pairs fell to NCAA Division III Stevenson University, 1-4.

Pairing 4: Sydney Phillips and Morgan Green fell to the Mustangs 15-21 and 9-21.
Pairing 5: Georgia Alexander and Jordan May fell to the Mustangs 8-21 and 9-21.
In match four, the Statesmen pairs defeated NCAA Division III University of Lynchburg, 3-2.

Pairing 2: Rylie Harris and Leilani Goggin lost to the Hornets 4-21 and 9-21.
Pairing 3: Sophia Kaiser and Jadyn Brown defeated the Hornets 21-13 and 21-14.
Pairing 4: Sydney Phillips and Morgan Green defeated the Hornets 21-11 and 21-11.
Pairing 5: Georgia Alexander and Sydney Phillips fell to the Hornets 21-23 and 20-22.
The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team next travels to the University of Lynchburg on Tuesday, April 4th. The Statesmen will face Lynchburg at 12pm and Catawba College at 2pm.
