Beach Volleyball Takes Two From Eagles

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College beach volleyball moves to 11-1 overall, 2-0 in conference play after traveling to Wake Technical Community College Tuesday afternoon for a doubleheader dual.

 

In dual one, the Statesmen pairs defeated the Eagles of Wake Tech, 5-0.

Pair 1: Sarah Heath and Alexis Scipione defeated the Eagles 21-15 and 21-16.

Pair 2: Leilani Goggin and Aubrey Hyndshaw defeated the Eagles 10-21, 21-12, and 15-10.

Pair 3: Morgan Green and Jordan Schlageter defeated the Eagles 21-12 and 21-12.

Pair 4: Peyton Ostenson and Phoebe Heath defeated the Eagles 21-12 and 21-12.

Pair 5: Addison White and Kiley Pickett defeated the Eagles 21-14 and 21-17.

 

In dual two, the Statesmen pairs defeated the Eagles of Wake Tech, 5-0.

Pair 1: Sarah Heath and Alexis Scipione defeated the Eagles 21-6 and 21-8.

Pair 2: Leilani Goggin and Aubrey Hyndshaw defeated the Eagles 21-10 and 21-11.

Pair 3: Morgan Green and Jordan Schlageter defeated the Eagles 22-20 and 21-19.

Pair 4: Peyton Ostenson and Phoebe Heath defeated the Eagles 21-7 and 21-8.

Pair 5: Addison White and Marisa Dunnavant defeated the Eagles 21-11 and 21-7.

 

The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team next travels to Spartanburg Methodist College for a two-day tournament beginning Saturday, March 9th through Sunday, March 10th. The Statesmen will take on the hosts at 8am and Wake Tech at 10am on Saturday, and Palm Beach State College at 10am and Huntingdon College at 12pm Sunday.
