Statesmen Take Four From Eagles in Beach Volleyball
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College Beach Volleyball team hosted Region 10 foe, Wake Technical Community College in a doubleheader dual Wednesday afternoon, and traveled to their place Thursday afternoon for a second doubleheader. After conclusion of both days, Richard Bland has moved to 10-8 overall, 3-0 in conference play on the season.
In dual one at home on Wednesday, the Statesmen defeated the Eagles, 5-0.
Pair 1: Phoebe Heath & Lovina Teal defeated the Eagles 21-16 and 21-12.
Pair 2: Alexis Scipione & Gabrielle Meador defeated the Eagles 21-17, 14-21, and 15-8.
Pair 3: Peyton Ostenson & Taelin Connolley defeated the Eagles 21-18 and 21-9.
Pair 4: Braelyn Boyd & Rachelle Martin defeated the Eagles 21-14 and 21-18.
Pair 5: Aliyah Millner & Rachel Pickens defeated the Eagles 21-16, 21-23, and 15-11.
In dual two at home on Wednesday, the Statesmen defeated the Eagles, 5-0.

The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team next travels to Sandhills Community College on Saturday, April 12th for their final regular season matches before the Region 10 Tournament. The doubleheader duals against the Flyers will begin at 12pm Saturday.
