#19 RICHARD BLAND ROLLS OVER TIDEWATER COMMUNITY COLLEGE ON THE ROAD

CHESAPEAKE, VA, December 14, 2013-Richard Bland never looked back after claiming an early 13-4 lead over the Storm to win 105-69. The Statesmen were led by Micah Thomas' 22 points including four bombs from behind the three-point arc. Tavon Mealy added 17 points, Melvin Gregory tossed in 14 points with eight boards, and Avery Ugba chipped in with 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds as well for the visitors.

The #19 Statesmen are now 9-1 overall and 3-1 in NJCAA Region X Division II. Richard Bland will play again on the road at Wytheville Community College on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 3:00 pm. The Statesmen will return home to host Division I Spartanburg Methodist on Thursday, December 19, 2013 for a 5:00 pm tip-off.
