SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Men's Basketball team moves to 6-11 overall after they traveled to Maryland for a non-conference contest with Howard Community College this evening.
Trailing by a 21 point deficit at half, the Dragons outscored the Statesmen 50-31 in the second half to close out the win. Lance Monteiro had 8 points and 4 rebounds. Kelby Saunders Jr. scored 7 points and posted 9 rebounds, while Andre Hayes chipped in with 7 points and 4 rebounds off the bench.
Richard Bland men's basketball next hosts Bryant and Stratton (VA) Thursday, January 20th at 7pm for their second meeting of the season.
