SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA - The Richard Bland College men's basketball team moves to 5-4 after hosting traveling to Allegany College of Maryland Wednesday evening for a rubber match. In the first meeting of the season, the Trojans came out victorious 75-70. In the second meeting, the Statesmen dominated in a 70-48 victory. In the third meeting of the season, the Trojans came out victorious in a 67-53 win.

 

After trailing by 11 at the half, 33-22, the Trojans would outscore the Statesmen by three in the second half to take the 14 point victory. Jordan Morris led the way for the Statesmen with 13 points and four rebounds off the bench. Eric Wood added 12 points and eight rebounds off the bench, and Kelby Saunders Jr. added 10 points and six rebounds.

 

The Richard Bland men's basketball team next hosts Denmark Technical College on Saturday, December 3rd in the conference opener. Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm.
