Brown Named to All-Region 10 First Team
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Tuesday afternoon, the Region 10 Division I Men's Basketball committee announced the All-Region 10 awards for the 2024-25 season. Freshman guard, Doyle Brown was the lone Statesman named to the Region 10 Division II All-Region team.
The Fairfax, Virginia native, earned All-Region 10 1st Team honors. Brown has started all 24 games for the Statesmen, helping the team to a 9-15 overall, 7-7 conference record, and the #5 seed in the Region 10 Atlantic District Tournament.
Throughout the regular season, Doyle scored 446 points, tallied 47 assists, grabbed 45 rebounds, 35 steals, and six blocks. Brown averaged 18.6 points per game, leading all of Region 10 Division I Men's Basketball student-athletes. He totaled 22 double-figure scoring games, with his best appearances on November 18th against Washington Adventist University JV and February 28th at Denmark Technical College, where he scored 30 points in each outing.
