Petersburg, VA, September 7, 2013-The Statesmen of Richard Bland College (1-2) dropped their second regional match this week. The Pioneers of Spartanburg Methodist College entered the match ranked #11 nationally winning 11-0.
The Statesmen made a strong effort in the first half when they trailed only 3-0. During the second half an abundance goals were poured in by the visitors. The Statesmen showed great effort, however, could not hold off the Pioneers offense.
Richard Bland will attempt to even their record tomorrow when they host Virginia Western Community College at Statesman Field. The game time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
