SOCCER CONCLUDES REGULAR SEASON AT LOUISBURG

PETERSBURG, Va. – Owning five goals over the last three games, the Richard Bland men's soccer team will conclude its 2014 regular season by traveling to Louisburg, N.C. to face the Hurricanes of Louisburg Community College with the kickoff on Friday, Oct. 24th slated for 4 p.m.

The Statesmen (4-11-2, 2-10-2 National Junior College Athletic Association Region X Conference) suffered three setbacks in its last three games, posting a recent 3-2 loss against Cape Fear Community College to conclude its final home game on the season.

Richard Bland netted 18 goals in their 15 games, while averaging 1.6 shots per game off of (.750) shots.

RBC's Godfred Obed-Baisel led the way for the Statesmen last game with two goals in the loss.

The Hurricanes (12-2-1, 10-0-1 NJCAA Region X Conference) welcomes the Statesmen after defeating Patrick Henry Community College, 6-1 and edging Spartanburg Methodist in a 1-0 decision in conference match-ups.
