SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA--The Richard Bland College of William & Mary men's soccer team lost 3-2 to Spartanburg this afternoon at Statesman Soccer Field.
With this lost, the Statesmen dropped to 5-1-1 for the season. Next up for the Statesmen will be Wake Tech at the Statesman Soccer Field for a 1pm kickoff this Saturday, September 22nd.
The Statesmen conceded two early goals in the first half. In the second half, freshman Nehemie Nemontokou scored a goal for the Statesmen with a long ranged shot. Sophomore Hector Rivera tied up the score for the Statemen with another long ranged shot outside Spantanburg's 18 yard box. However, approaching the final whistle Spartanburg scored the game winning goal.
