SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA--The Richard Bland College of William & Mary men's soccer team defeated USC Sumter 4-1 this afternoon at Sumter Soccer Field.
With this result, the Statesmen improved to 7-2-1 and complete their South Carolina road trip with two wins. Next up for The Statesmen is Cape Fear away for a 6:30 pm kickoff on Wednesday, October 3rd.

In the first half, Statesmen's freshman Brian Guerrero scored two goals in the 15th and 40th minute. USC Sumter scored a goal back in the second half in the 34th minute to make it a 2-1 game. Freshman Caleb Harris scored the Statesmen's 3rd goal with 7 minutes remaining in the game right before Freshman Brian Guerrero completed his hat trick 3 minutes later to complete the game's final score of 4-1.
