Men’s Soccer Propels Over Panthers

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College men's soccer team moves to 6-1 overall, 5-1 in conference play after defeating the Panthers of Denmark Technical College Saturday afternoon, 5-1.

 

Seraphim Davis, Nicholas Ihnat, Daniel Nunfio, Ruben Santos and Samir Spaulding all put a tally on the board this afternoon for the Statesmen. Davis was unassisted in the 16th minute, Bruno Oliveira Barro assisted Ihnat in the 44th minute, which became the game-winning goal. Santos assisted Nunfio's tally in the 62nd minute. Otto Eisenhardt assisted Santos in the 68th minute, and Milton A Hernandez Sierra assisted Spaulding in the 83rd minute to close out the game.

 

Adrian Rios earned the start in net for the first 30 minutes of play. Mason Dycus and Thomas Seymour also earned 30 minutes each. Seymour was credited with two saves. Richard Bland had 21 shots, 13 on goal on the day.

 

The Richard Bland men's soccer team next hosts USC Lancaster on Tuesday, September 19th in a 2pm match.
