RICHARD BLAND ATHLETICS HOSTS FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES DINNER

PETERSBURG, VA, December 2, 2013- Richard Bland College Athletic Department hosted their Fellowship of Christian Athletes dinner in Statesman Hall with the assistance of the local FCA of Central Virginia. The speaker for the event was Rev. Dr. Randall Hahn who is the pastor of Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, VA.

Dr. Hahn is a native of Houston, TX and was a former scholarship distance runner for Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Prior to serving as senior pastor at Colonial Heights Baptist Church, he served in the same capacity at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg in Spartanburg, SC. he is married and has two sons who are distance runners themselves and rank in the top 50 in high school track & field. Tonight's message was about everyone recognizing their worth, whether it be in sports, their careers, and everything they do it's because of Christ.
