STATESMEN TRIO LEADS AT MARYLAND INVITATIONAL

COLLEGE PARK, MD, March 29, 2014- The Richard Bland College track and field teams represented well against other NCAA four year programs. The trio of Joshua Washington, James Drummond and Adrain Jackson led the Statesmen against the competitive field and an overall sixth place finish out of 10 teams, with only 10 team members.

Coach Matt High added, "A very solid meet for the track and field team considering the weather conditions were very poor.  The meet had challenges of pouring rain and winds that made it tough on the sprinters to run fast times.  Overall, we brought home several top 3 finishes as well as finishing first and second in the 200 meters".

The Statesmen are back in action this weekend, April 4-5, 2014 at The College of William & Mary.
