STATESMEN SOFTBALL RANKED #12 IN NJCAA POLL

PETERSBURG, VA, March 26, 2014- Richard Bland softball is making an impressive impact in their first season, mirroring the success of the men's basketball team by entering the first poll at number 12. The entire Richard Bland community have been in support in the athletics program in their inaugural season of competition. The Statesmen were able to handle Rappahannock CC and stave off a feisty and determined Herkimer CC squad that captured the Division III title a year ago. Head Coach Martha Covington and her coaching staff have been instrumental in developing a positive environment for the team to develop and grow.
