Softball Announces 2025 Schedule
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College Softball team has announced their 2025 season schedule, featuring multiple non-conference opponents.
Richard Bland will open the 2025 campaign with an away, two-day tournament in Niceville, Florida. The Statesmen will take on hosts, Northwest Florida State College, and Dyersburg State Community College on both January 24th and 25th. Following the weekend opener, the Statesmen will travel to USC Salkehatchie on January 28th for a 12pm, non-conference doubleheader.
The home opener for the Statesmen is scheduled for Saturday, February 8th against non-conference opponent Elizabeth City State University, in a 2pm doubleheader. Richard Bland will host three teams Friday, February 21st through Sunday, February 23rd in the 1st annual Richard Bland College Softball Invitational. A total of six games will be played on Statesman Field, two per day. At the Invitational, Richard Bland will compete against Lackawanna College, Finger Lakes Community College, and Howard Community College.
Richard Bland's conference opening series will take place on March 7th against Pitt Community College, in a 2pm doubleheader.
During the season, Richard Bland will compete against other non-conferences opponents in Surry Community College, Patrick & Henry Community College, Louisburg College, CCBC Catonsville, Virginia Union University, and Wake Technical Community College.
Richard Bland is set to host 25 games, while traveling for 30. Admission is free for all Richard Bland College Softball regular season home games. Game times can be found in the Softball schedule tab:
