SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William & Mary women's soccer team tied with USC Salkehatchie on Saturday, September 21, after a challenging game.
They move to 3-4-1 and are scheduled to host Spartanburg Methodist at Willcox Field on Saturday, September 28, at 12 p.m.
The Statesmen secured the first goal of the game with a score by Julia Delgado, assisted by Bethany Ferguson. They held this score until USC brought it to a tie in the second half. Even after the game went into double overtime, the Statesmen would not allow USC another goal.
