Women’s Volleyball Sweeps the Bulldogs

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The #5 Richard Bland College women's volleyball team host Pitt Community College Wednesday evening for a non-conference match. After completion of the evening, the Richard Bland College women's volleyball team moved to 6-1 overall.

 

In the match, the Statesmen defeated the Bulldogs 3-0, with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-10. Taelin Connolley was on fire on the attack, leading with 18 kills on the night. She also added five digs, one assist, and one service ace. Lovina Teel tallied nine kills, six digs, and three service aces. Gabrielle Meador had 13 digs, eight kills, and two service aces. Alexis Scipione was credited with 36 assists, six digs, and one service ace. The Statesmen had 42 kills, 42 digs, 40 assists, and 11 service aces in the match.

 

The Richard Bland College women's volleyball team next hosts The College of Southern Maryland on Thursday, September 5th at 6pm.
