SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The #7 Richard Bland College women's volleyball team moves to 20-3 overall, 5-0 in conference play after traveling to Davidson-Davie Community College Saturday afternoon for a tri-match with the Storm, and the Titans of Guilford Technical Community College.
In match one, Richard Bland defeated the Storm of Davidson-Davie Community College 3-2, with set scores of; 25-22, 21-25, 16-25, 25-19, and 15-9. Sarah Heath and Leilani Goggin led the attack with 26 and 18 kills respectively. Jadyn Brown pitched in with seven. Jordan Schlageter was credited with 52 assists and 11 digs. Heath, Brown, and Aubrey Hyndshaw added 15 digs each, while Goggin had eight.
In match two, Richard Bland swept the Titans of Guilford Technical Community College 3-0, with set scores of; 25-16, 25-19, and 25-14. Once again, Heath and Goggin led the attack with 17 and 13 kills. Heath also added three service aces and six digs, and Goggin seven digs in the win. Jordan Schlageter was credited with 35 assists and five digs.
The Richard Bland women's volleyball team next hosts Bryant & Stratton College (VA) on Tuesday, October 3rd at 6pm.
