She garnered Region 10 Coach of the Year honors, NJCAA Division II National Championship Coach of the Tournament, NJCAA Division II Coach of the Year, and AVCA Region Coach of the Year, while leading the team to a National Championship title for the first time in program history. Durco was also named MVP of Region 10, NJCAA Tournament MVP, and NJCAA Division II Player of the Year. Following the completion of the indoor season, Champine and Dryden lead the beach volleyball program to a 21-8 overall and 12-0 conference record, closing the season at the inaugural NJCAA Beach Volleyball National Tournament, and earning a 5th place finish. Six student-athletes from the volleyball program graduated and moved on to NCAA Division I and II colleges.

In her second season at the helm, Champine led the program to a 33-8 overall record, and a 10-1 record in conference play, leading to a Region 10 Championship title, where six individuals were recognized throughout the first, second, and third All-Region 10 teams. Champine earned Southeast A District Coach of the Year. The team is currently preparing for their second official beach season.

Prior to Terra State, Champine and Dryden held coaching roles together with Glass City Volleyball Club (Toledo, OH), Start High School and Sylvania High School.

"I am excited to bring Stephanie and Shaun on board at Richard Bland College. I had the privilege of watching their team in Iowa at the Division II National Championship Tournament this past fall and knew that team was built on solid leadership and structure. We are very fortunate to have them," Newton says.
