Beach Volleyball Goes 1-1 on First Day of Liberty Tournament
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College beach volleyball moves to 7-1 overall, 2-0 in conference play after traveling to Liberty University for day one of the Flames Tournament,
In dual one, the Statesmen pairs fell to the Flames of Liberty University, 1-4.
Pair 1: Sarah Heath and Alexis Scipione fell to the Flames 23-25 and 13-21.
Pair 2: Leilani Goggin and Aubrey Hyndshaw fell to the Flames 21-19, 8-21, and 14-16.
Pair 3: Morgan Green and Jordan Schlageter fell to the Flames 12-21 and 19-21.
Pair 4: Peyton Ostenson and Kiley Pickett fell to the Flames 16-21 and 12-21.
Pair 5: Addison White and Phoebe Heath defeated the Flames 21-11 and 21-17.
In dual two, the Statesmen pairs defeated the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College, 5-0 .
Pair 1: Sarah Heath and Alexis Scipione defeated the Chargers 21-11 and 21-13.
Pair 2: Leilani Goggin and Aubrey Hyndshaw defeated the Chargers 21-17 and 21-13.

The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team will take on Lynchburg and Gaston College on Saturday, March 2nd, day two of the Liberty University Tournament. The action begins at 8am on the intramural courts.
