Beach Volleyball Sweeps Eagles in Front of Large Home Crowd
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College beach volleyball moves to 18-5 overall, 4-0 in conference play after hosting the Eagles of Wake Technical Community College Tuesday afternoon in a doubleheader dual.
In dual one, the Statesmen pairs defeated the Eagles of Wake Tech, 5-0.
Pair 1: Leilani Goggin and Alexis Scipione defeated the Eagles 21-17 and 21-13.
Pair 2: Sarah Heath and Jordan Schlageter defeated the Eagles 21-11 and 21-5.
Pair 3: Peyton Ostenson and Aubrey Hyndshaw defeated the Eagles 21-13 and 21-18.
Pair 4: Morgan Green and Kiley Pickett defeated the Eagles 21-12 and 21-11.
Pair 5: Phoebe Heath and Addison White defeated the Eagles 21-0 and 21-0 in a forfeit by Wake Tech.
In dual two, the Statesmen pairs defeated the Eagles of Wake Tech, 5-0.
Pair 1: Sarah Heath and Jordan Schlageter defeated the Eagles 21-16 and 21-12.
Pair 2: Leilani Goggin and Alexis Scipione defeated the Eagles 21-10 and 21-8.
Pair 3: Peyton Ostenson and Aubrey Hyndshaw defeated the Eagles 21-12 and 21-19.
Pair 4: Morgan Green and Kiley Pickett defeated the Eagles 21-10 and 21-6.
Pair 5: Phoebe Heath and Addison White defeated the Eagles 22-20 and 21-14.
The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team next travels to the University of Lynchburg on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th for the Lynchburg Tournament. On Friday, the Statesmen will take on Liberty University at 1pm and Lynchburg at 3pm. On Saturday, Richard Bland will take on Stevenson University at 11am and Lynchburg at 3pm.
