Q: How does it feel to be named Richard Bland Athlete of the Week?
MM: It's actually a surprise to be named Athlete of the Week, but I'm excited for the honor!

Q: How did you get started in your sport and how long have you played?
MM: When I was young, my father put a ball in my hands and I have loved basketball ever since. I've been playing for at least 15 years.

Q: What do you like most about your team?
MM: How we can come together when it gets tough on the court and play as one. We really become a dominant team.

Q: Who is your funniest teammate/why?
MM: It has to be Von (Gevon Arrington) or Brandon (Henry). They're both clowns on and off the court.

Q: Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions?
MM: I usually pray and talk to myself in the huddle.

Q: What is your favorite place on campus/why?
MM: Either Statesman Hall or my dorm playing Super Smash Bros. with my teammates.

Q: What is your favorite class/professor/why?
MM: Right now, it's statistics and (Adjunct Speech Instructor) Jamie Camp is my favorite instructor. She taught my public speaking class last year, and is a funny and positive person.
