Richard Bland Ranked No. 17 In This Week's NJCAA Division II Poll
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- Richard Bland College is ranked No. 17 in this week's NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Poll, as released Wednesday. The Statesmen are currently 11-4 overall, including 5-2 in Region 10.
Richard Bland is scheduled to host No. 11 Louisburg (N.C.) College in a Region 10 contest featuring two National Top 20 teams on Thursday night, January 18, at 5:30 p.m. in Statesman Hall.
Richard Bland dropped five spots from last week's ranking following a road setback at region member Pitt (N.C.) Community College (11-4), who received votes for the first time in this week's poll. Louisburg (12-3, 6-0) moved up four spots from a week ago, while early-season opponent Monroe (N.Y.) Community College (12-3) is up to No. 9 this week.
Cuyahoga (Ohio) Community College (16-0) is ranked No. 1 for the fourth consecutive poll.
